The NEXT Chapter in my Life

I'm about to enter the next and best chapter in my life, and I am ready for it. My life, and yours, have a beginning, a middle, and an end. Don't close your book early. When I feel stuck, I pause and reflect on where I am today and how far I have come. Then I take the next step toward what I desire for my life. I have many pages of my book to write; with all of my life experiences, I will use each lesson to create a new chapter.

But this chapter is the most exciting. We have a new employee starting in June, our oldest daughter will be getting married in October, and our youngest daughter will be graduating from college in December. I have experiences to share with them all since I have been through all three above. Starting a new job in our industry, advertising, a marriage or two, and graduating from college. Not in that order, of course. It all occurred many years ago, but I remember them like yesterday.

For many people, starting a new chapter also consists of significant life events such as moving to a new place, done that one too, having grandkids, can't wait for that chapter, or retiring, not looking forward to that. The truth is, we can start a new chapter in our lives whenever we want. "Keep your dreams alive. Understand to achieve anything requires faith and belief in yourself, vision, hard work, determination, and dedication. Remember all things are possible for those who believe." — Gail Devers.

All of us have a "next chapter" in our lives. They may come along every few months or a few years, and our life stories are filled with these moments. Every time we transition from one set of circumstances to another, we have a chance to start fresh and see things in a different light. And each time we begin a new chapter, we are given a golden opportunity to make our life turn out the way we want them to. If you wish to achieve a little or a lot, the result will make the next chapter of your life the best one yet.

Sometimes the situation that pushes us to begin the next chapter of our life is favorable, occasionally negative. Either way, we have the option to choose how to start a new chapter in our life. Let's begin gracefully and talk about how to handle the beginning of the next chapter in life with success, grace, and positivity. To start a new chapter of your life successfully, you should have some idea of your hopes. Every time a new chapter of life begins, sit down and visualize your next chapter. When you have a clear image of what you are hoping for, you are more likely to achieve it. A vision board is great for goal setting and just fun to make.

Over a year ago, I may not have cared about what my next chapter looked like, but now I look at it with hope. I'm excited and hopeful about the possibilities. It may be scary, but I'm ready and promising to take the plunge. Sometimes you know that you need a change in your life. It's okay to make a change if you need to and if it won't drastically change other people's lives. Stop thinking about it and do it if that's what you need to do to start a new chapter in your life.

Are you ready to start a new chapter in your life? Go for it! I am prepared for this new chapter and the chapters after this one.
